Library Settings
You can change how your songs are shown in your "Options/Settings/Music Library" settings panel. When first installing the program, it defaults to putting your songs in folders(drove me nuts). Here's my settings, notice I have the "Track Title" first, then "Artist", "Genre", and "Time".

This is how my jukebox will now look like when it first starts up. When I click the gray "View by Track Title" bar, or the "Artist", or "Genre" bars, it will put them in alphabetical order by track title or artist or genre. This can be a handy tool when making cds. In the picture below, i've clicked the genre bar, to put them in order to make a 50's cd.

Bringing new songs into your library

Left click the "Add" button. Scroll in the "Directory" box, and single click(highlight) the folder in which the song is stored. When your song comes up in the "File" box, single click(highlight) it. Click "Add", and the song will be added to your Music Library .

Skins

This program also comes with different skins for different tastes. To try different skins, click view/change skin, and try something different. There.s also a tab in there for downloading more skins to try from the musicmatch site. The skin I'm using above is the neo-swim skin, which has printed buttons for play, pause, etc. Good for beginners.

Tagging a song

Mp3's have tags on them to allow you to know more about what they are. You can edit these tags to your personal preferences. Just right click on the song after you've entered it to your library, and click "edit track tag". You can either manually enter the information you want, or you can click the "Lookup Tags" button, which will give you suggestions from the CD Data Base(CDDB) online.

Burning a CD

Left click the "CLEAR" button under your playlist. Double left click any songs in your library that you want to put on your CD. The songs that you've clicked will be put in your playlist. Left click the "BURN" or "CD-R" button under your playlist. Check to make sure you have it set for audio or mp3 CD. Left click the red "Burn" button that comes up in the new screen. Note: Audio CD's must be finalized(closed), to play in cd players or car stereos. Mp3 CD's will only play on computers or mp3 players.

Turning a music cd into mp3's on your computer

Just put your cd in the drive, and wait a second for cddb(internet music library) to look it up, and click the record button. If you have your jukebox taking up your whole screen(like i do), the recorder will come up behind your jukebox, so ya might have to move some pieces out of the way. It'll be behind your Music Library at the bottom of the screen. Then just uncheck the songs you don't want turned into mp3's or it will do all of them. Make sure to note the folder where it puts them in so you can find them when it's done. It defaults to My Documents/My Music. You can change that in your settings.

Printing Function

One of the features I personally needed when looking for a jukebox, was a printer function. Can you believe that musicmatch is the only one that comes with one? Anyway, just right click inside your library, or playlist, and click print, and it'll print out. This is a Plus feature, so make sure the registration key is in first.
